Minnetrista Spring Flowers

While awaiting my Mother’s Day Mini Session clients yesterday, I took my 35mm Nikon Lens and captured some of Minnetrista’s beautiful spring flowers. It’s been a while since I have captured something for myself and it made my heart so happy. I came home edited some of my client’s photos and then threw a handful of my flowers into lightroom to edit and share with you all. I am a firm believer, especially the longer that I run my business, that you NEED to shoot for yourself not just others. I am so excited to be growing my own wildflower garden this summer for Cory and I’s wedding, I have added on to my flower garden in our side yard and will be growing all kinds of flowers for our wedding. I will also be photographing them with my newest lens, that allows me to Free-Lens shoot. I AM SO EXCITED TO TRY IT OUT HERE SOON, for now enjoy these spring flowers!

I am so happy and excited to be able to stand next to this amazing woman on her special day in August.

Andrea and Brian's wedding was held on the campus of IU in a small chapel with immediate family. After the ceremony the couple traveled by bus to the IU football game to tailgate with friends and family at their RV, while still in their wedding attire. The reception was held several hours later at Deer Park. Their reception was elegant and beautifully decorated with lights and floral arrangements. The couple are die hard IU sports fans and it definitely showed!
